The foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building complex for the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences took place on the 17th of July 2020 at 1.45 pm. With the presence of Senior Prof. Sampath Amarathunga, Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor of USJ, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and other esteemed personalities and academia, this ceremony saw a successful completion.
